To all my blog friends, everyday friends, and far away friends,
I made the heart-wrenching decision last night to take down my adoption blog story for now.
I do want to make it very clear that I've truly enjoyed all the friendships I've made through this blog, and am extrememly grateful for the adoptive families, CHIers and my agency who followed me on this journey over the last two years and cheered me on along the way. There were times it was the comments and the crossposts and the empathy that got me through. I will continue to watch as the rest of my friends are finally joined with your children and will be celebrating with you in my heart.
Adoption is a wonderful thing. Anyone who is pondering this choice, or considering using our agency, please feel free to email me with any questions you may have. I am happy to help.
Our adoption from China was a life changing journey that not everyone gets to experience. We are very blessed with a beautiful daughter. I feel fortunate that I was led down this path by some greater power in my life.
Take care!

Leda, I hope you will email once a year or so. I have your quilt square and wish, to remember you by, at least! You are a very supportive rock to many of us and I especially will miss following your journey onward! God Bless you and your kickin family!! And Thanks for sharing!
Always, sharon
Leda, I was checking your blog today, to see if you are ok in California, with all those forest fires! So terrible.
I will greatly miss following your familiy's story. You are an inspiration to me, while I am still waiting for my LID of Apr 11, 2006 to bring our 2nd daughter home.
However, I respect your decision to be more private. There is a time and place for everything. You are truly blessed to have lovely Kaylee join your family and your two boys are great too. I hope Todd is safe and will be home again soon.
I am inspired to complete the digital scrapbook pages that you do, but I never seem to be able to start.
Take care, and thanks for our brief connection online.

Leda,
I will defintely miss your blogging and your scrapbooking! (you are one awesome digital scrapper) I totally understand though. I've been considering leaving the bloggysphere myself.
Best of luck to you and your family!

Leda,
Take care of you and yours first, you're a mom, that's your job. Filling the rest of us in was just a sideline that we all enjoyed. The beauty of your blog and the words you wrote were an inspiration to us all. Stop in and see our blog & drop us a line whenever you can and maybe someday we'll meet at a CHI reunion.

Leda!
I will miss you. You have been around since the VERY beginning of everything regarding this adoption and there will be a "hole" out there without you. I would love to stay in touch... esp. to share when Zoey comes. I've enjoyed our time online...and hope you and your family are doing well. Maybe we will meet one of these days at a CHI reunion (like Heather said!)

Leda -- I just wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed your blog. It was so wonderful to watch the other children from Alana's waiting child list come home. You have a beautiful family and it was a blessing to see your newest member join and complete your family.
